Supplement Protocol for Female Fertility Enhancement

Energy Formula Multi-Vitamin 3 daily Chelated, full spectrum multi-vitamin for basic nutritional health. Has a good B-complex as well. Take with meals.

Fish Oil
(PowerPak contains 1 fish oil) 2-4 daily
 Omega 3 nutrients act as hormone regulators, and are vital to cell maintenance. Eight out of ten women are deficient in DHA. Nordic Naturals ProOmega softgels are twice as concentrated, so only take 1-2 daily.
Selenium 200IU 1 daily Deficiencies have been linked to increased risk of infertility and miscarriage. Take with vitamin E.

Co-Q 10 (60-100mg) 1 daily Low levels linked to miscarriage, proper supplementation increases blood flow. Fat soluble. Physician’s Preference 100 m.g. softgel has vitamin E for better absorption. If taking the 60 m.g. capsule in the PowerPak take with vitamin E, vitamin D or fish oil.

L-Carnitine 500mg
L-Taurine 250mg 1 daily Amino acids play a vital role in the body and are necessary for egg production. Increase dose up to 3,000 mg if desired.

Vitamin C 1,000mg
(PowerPak contains 1667 mg) 2-3 daily Vitamin C is a potent, water soluble antioxidant. Potentiates the immune system. Necessary for overall health. Take with water and high iron food sources such as: lean meats, egg, fish, poultry, cherries, green leafy vegetables, broccoli and nuts. Take only 1,000mg on days 7-19 (fertile days) of menstrual cycle as high levels may hinder production of cervical mucous.

N-AcetylCysteine 300mg 1 daily This antioxidant may encourage removal of harmful toxins from vital organs such as the lungs and liver. Also provides immune system support. Increase dose up to 1200 mg if desired.

Note:  For your convenience, the PowerPak is pre-packaged to include the recommended supplements listed in the above table.  By taking one pack per day, you would achieve the recommended dosage.

Vitamin E 400IU 2-4 daily Potent antioxidant. Improves circulation. May improve ovulation, taken with selenium may improve absorption.

Vitamin D 1000 IU 1 daily Low levels are linked to infertility. Take with calcium between meals.
Calcium Citrate 600-1200mg/ Magnesium Citrate  300-600mg 4-8 capsules or 2-4 tablets Calcium is necessary for proper hormone balance. Low magnesium levels are linked to female infertility and miscarriage. Take with vitamin D between meals.

Magnesium Citrate 200mg 1 daily Magnesium has a starring role in fertility enhancement. If you choose not to supplement additional magnesium consider adding brown rice, nuts, barley, green leafy vegetables, and legumes to your diet. These foods naturally contain modest amounts of magnesium.

Folic Acid 800mcg 1 daily in a.m. Upon conception the embryo will rely on sufficient levels of folic acid for proper development and prevention of neural tube defects. Take with vitamin b-12.

Vitamin B-12 drops 1 dropper daily in a.m. Together with folic acid, vitamin b-12 is needed for proper synthesis of DNA and RNA. Vitamin b-12 supplementation prevents anemia (anemia hinders fertility).
